Kinderopvang ZON!

Sensations to feel, making a fire, barefoot path, and leisurely wandering in the discovery and exploration garden of Kinderopvang ZON! Here, children up to 12 years old can romp around with what nature has to offer. There’s an obstacle course in the garden, a theater performance, and the kids can make their own popcorn.

Foodplein en BuytenMarkt

Come relax in the tall grass, enjoy some food and drinks from our top-notch catering team, and stroll around the BuytenMarkt. There will be great bands, and DJ Saunder will spin some tunes in between! At the food court, you’ll find Rode rozen & Tortilla’s, café Du-midi, Hoeve Biesland, and many dedicated volunteers from the catering team. Will we see you at our Food Court? Open-air church service by Church Delfgauw. Sunday, September 3rd – doors open at 9:30 AM. The service is led by trainee pastor Arthur Rebel. There are straw bales to sit on, and you can bring your own blanket.

De halve molen

The half windmill is impossible to miss in the polder. During the Biesland Days, you can learn a lot about the wildlife in the area here. Both young and old can ask the beekeeper questions about bees, learn more about wildlife management while tasting a piece of goose liver. There’s also an antique market, and children can have a go at pole vaulting.

Surf & Supclub Plané

During the Biesland Days, the island of Plané is transformed into a true Enjoy & Chill area. Experience the boundless power of the Wim Hof Experience and let yourself be carried away by the magic of live handpan and didgeridoo music. Unleash your inner acrobat on the slackline, relax on hay bales, and discover hidden talents on our open stage. If all of this becomes too much, cool off on the water with a 20-minute SUP introductory lesson!

Hoeve Biesland

At the organic farm of Hoeve Biesland, you experience, discover, and learn more about farm life. The journey starts from the ground and ends in your mouth. What do a cow pat, creatures in the soil, meadow birds, and a glass of fresh milk have in common? Visit the Vegetable Farmer and Hoeve Biesland, and experience how all of this is intricately woven together. See the program with lots of fun activities below.

Just like every year, the residents of Klein Delfgauw are organizing a flea market. You can wander around the gardens and narrow alleys of Klein Delfgauw here. If you’re in the mood for a tractor ride, hop on at Klein Delfgauw and hop off at the farm.

Notenland

Come to Klein Delfgauw and settle down with the kids in the Nut Meadow. There, they can enjoy a delightful children’s performance. Kinto is the youth section of the theater association Voetlicht from Pijnacker-Nootdorp. In the nut field in Klein Delfgauw, children can enjoy this performance that Kinto presents every 30 minutes.

Speelbos Biesbush

Are you coming to the Biesbush Adventure Forest? Take a walk through the Biesbush Adventure Forest with the whole family. Climb, scramble, observe, and listen: seek out and follow the birdhouses throughout the Adventure Forest. Along the way, you’ll encounter live storytellers who will take you into the world of birds. Suitable for the entire family. Starting point: entrance of Biesbush Adventure Forest on Bieslandseweg. The story trail takes approximately 30 – 45 minutes.

Staatsbosbeheer

Come to Bieslandse Forest where it’s all about seeing, listening, and feeling nature and embracing it in your heart. Birds connect the three locations in Bieslandse Forest. Experience with your hands at Staatsbosbeheer: here you can dissect owl pellets. Through the birdhouses with information about local birds of prey, you reach the adventure forest. Embark on an adventure in the play forest – follow the bird signs and listen to the three storytellers you encounter. At the amphitheater, watch a performance that centers on the interaction between humans and nature. We look forward to seeing you in Bieslandse Bos!

Are you coming to our harvest festival? At BuitenLeeft, everything revolves around nature and health. The focus is on connecting with nature and everything in relation to a healthy Earth. De Delftse Natuurwacht

Give nature a helping hand at the Nature Guard. Come visit the coziest nature club in Delft! On Saturday afternoons, our oldest group is working at Hoeve Biesland. On Sunday, you can come to the nature barn. Discover the differences between the skulls of a dog, cat, or deer. Play animal bingo, try out experiments from the water kit, and come make seed bombs!

Duurzaamheidscentrum De Papaver

What does De Papaver do, and what can I do there? De Papaver is the place to learn more about or engage in sustainability and nature. Come tree climbing, explore the world of coffee and tea in our exhibition, or pedal your own shake together on our shake bike.

Wildopvang Haaglanden

Wildopvang Haaglanden (formerly known as Wildopvang Zuid-Holland) is a shelter for native wildlife. During the Biesland Days, they open their doors for you, allowing you to learn more about hares, wild rabbits, hedgehogs, and other native mammals.

Imkervereniging Delft

On Sunday, September 3rd, our beekeepers are ready to teach you all about the honeybee. Take a peek into one of the beehives, and you might even get a glimpse of the queen herself. We sell our own honey and other bee products.
